was the first life style hotel to open in Helsinki 2007 and first of a hotel chain that was based on our design. The aim of the design was to create timelessly modern, totally new type of hotel to Helsinki area with a customer’s luxurious feel good experience as a main target. GLO Hotel Kluuvi has won nomination as being one of top 50 luxury new hotels in the world by Condeé Nast Traveller magazine. It has been nr. 1 in Tripadvisor’s Helsinki hotel list from the opening until now. It has had the best occupancy rate of all hotels in Finland, average being over 80% for the first 6 years since it opened and continued that way. Design of 144 rooms and corridor areas. All fixed furniture designed by Studio Arcibella.

GLO Art
​
was created after renovating GLO Airport. The hotel sits on three different buildings which are all from different era. Special emphasis was put on creating small 16sqm 'pod'rooms which would look and feel the same as the rest of the hotel despite the mini size. The entry locates in A-listed jugend interior that needed extra careful design approach. We solved that with eyecathing Italian high design brand furniture and colours inspired of the murals.

GLO Kluuvi
​
hotelli GLO Kluuvi on Helsingin ensimmäinen niin kutsuttu lifestyle-hotelli, joka avattiin 2007, ja ensimmäinen GLO ketjuun kuuluvan hotelli, jonka sisutuksen Studio Arcibella on suunnitellut. Tavoitteena oli luoda ajattoman moderni ja uudenlainen hotelli Helsinkiin, säilyttäen hotelliketjun ylellinen tunnelma. Condeé Nast Traveller -lehti listasi GLO Kluuvin yhdeksi top 50 parhaimmista uusita hotelleista. Hotelli on pysynyt ykkösvaihtoehtona Tripavisorin listaamista Helsingin hotelleista ja sen käyttöaste on ensimmäisen kuuden vuoden aikana pysynyt keksimäärin yli 80 prosentin. Studio Arcibella on vastuussa sekä hotellin kaikista 144 hotellihuoneesta ja aulatiloista että kiinteistä kalusteista.

Hotelli sijaitsee kolmessa eri rakennuksessa, jotka ovat kaikki eri aikakaudelta. Erityistä huomiota kiinnitettiin pienten 16 m²n huoneiden päivittämiseen toimiviksi, ja jotka mukautuisivat pinenikokoiseen hotelliin. Hotellin sisäänkäynti sijaistee arvosetussa jugend rakennuksessa, joka vaati suunnittelulta erityistä huomiota. Inspiraatiota kalusteisiin haettiin rakennuksen sävyistä ja päädyimme korkealaatuiseen italialaiseen kalustebrändiin.
