Kristiina Michelsson

Owner 

Kristiina is the founder and CEO of Studio Arcibella. She got her education from Rome and Milan (BA of Arts / Interior Architecture) and founded the studio basically fresh out of school in 1994. She has reinforced her skills recently with a degree of Executive MBA in Aalto University Helsinki.

 

She is an architect in third generation, great grand daughter of the national Sculpture of Finland, Wäinö Aaltonen, i.e with strong connections to Finnish Art, design and Architecture but her heart is divided between the Scandinavian functional design and Italian architecture and Design.

The result of that can be seen in her style, references, wide international connections as well as in the language skills - she speaks fluently Finnish, Swedish, English,Italian, and also French. Her own family and children being bilingual, Finnish and Swedish speaking.

Hospitality design is the passion of hers, but in to the long reference list includes the  Residence of the President of Finland as well as numerous high end private houses, retail and airports.
