Långvik Wellness Congress Hotel
Långvik Wellness Congress Hotel is one of our all time favourites of our own hoteldesign work. Studio Arcibella is responsible for it's all interiors, from the reception to all conference and wellness facilities as well as for the rooms, corridors and restaurant and sport utitilities. Our main idea in the design was to respect both the fantastic nature surrounding the hotel as well as the athmosphere of the orignal architecture. Much of the orinigal furniture were restaured by upholstering them in modern textiles. We believe in different layers in interiors and love when we can express our respect to the surroundings by saving original items. This is also supporting the sustainability in interior design, a value we respect

Långvik has a long history on site – first being as the land area featuring Finland's President Svinhuvfuds summer villa, thereafter KOP banks educational centre. All major presidents of post-war era have gathered here together with the bank men both for hunting and exchanging ideas in the representative sauna that was only allowed for board members and their guests. The sauna has original fixed furniture and flooring.

Långvikin kokous- ja kylpylähotelli on kaikkien aikojen suosikkeja hotellisuunnittelutöistämme. Studio Arcibella on suunnitellut hotellin sisätilat vastaanotosta kokous- ja kylpylätiloihin, mukaan lukien kaikki hotellihuoneet, käytävät, ravintola ja kuntosali. Suunnittelun lähtökohtana on kunnioitus sekä ympäröivää luontoa että rakennuksen arkkitehtuuria kohtaan. Alkuperäisiä kalusteita päivitettiin ja restauroitiin uuteen suunnitelmaan sopiviks. Näin pystyimme hyödyntämään olemassa olevaa kalustusta ja luotua sisustukseen kerrollisuutta, joka tukee arvostavaamme sisustusarkkitehtuurin kestävyyttä.
Vuonna 1976 valmistuneella hotelli Långvikillä on jo pitkä historia takanaan toimien Presidentti Svinhufvudin kesävillana, ja myöhemmin Kansallis-Osake-Pankin koulutuskeskuksena. Monet sodanjälkeiset suuret presidentit ovat kokoontuneet tänne yhdessä pankkimiesten kanssa metsästämään ja vaihtamaan ajatuksia edustavassa saunassa, joka oli silloin sallittu vain hallituksen jäsenille ja heidän vierailleen. Olemme kunnioittaneet tätä historiaa säilyttämällä saunan alkuperäiset kiinteät kalusteet ja lattian.

The new pavement in white Carrara and custom designed furniture and light design create a nordic interior to the lobby.
The use of blue tones lead clients in the spa area towards treatment rooms, hair salons and eventually to the pool. Color is an easy help for navigating as well as for calming the senses in the spa areas.
Our custom design carpets create the look in the corridors of first floor.
